Thanksgiving is at your doorstep. Nothing planned for the moment? Want to organize a little something quick + well done? We have some ideas for you. With a belly or with a baby, these few suggestions will help you spend a pleasant and festive weekend that will run smoothly!
1. Embellish the house with nice decorations
Take a stroll outside, in a park, the fresh air is nice… and voila! The little ones will love to hunt for the biggest piles of leaves. Pick up some autumn branches and collect some colorful leaves. Put everything in a pretty vase or a rustic pot. For a little extra kick, add some garlic cloves, squash or mini pumpkins that can easily be found at the market (or, sshhhhh! At your local dollar store – don’t worry, it’s okay to cheat sometimes!)
2. Prepare a simple table with small key details
Pack your utensils in a nice napkin and tie it with a strand of rope or straw. Rustic and beautiful!
3. Combine Comfy + Pretty!
Mom-to-be? Opt for our long sleeve knit maternity dress, super comfy and so pretty! Are you a nursing mom? Go for a nursing top that combines the rustic charm of a plaid shirt and the romance of a light blouse. With its zipper, it will be easy to feed baby as needed throughout the day and evening!

4. Share the love and appreciation
Prepare a pretty pot in which you will slip small notes filled with your thank-yous and appreciations that will be read later on, at the end of the meal. What are you grateful for? For your upcoming baby? Children to whom you have already given life? Are you grateful for your life partner and its implications? Are you grateful for all the beautiful moments that shape your life? Let the world know! Share the happiness!
5. Surround yourself in the perfect musical atmosphere

We found this perfect amalgam of softness and “Folk” music that will accompany you throughout your little tasks and your delicious meal: YOUR FAVORITE COFFEEHOUSE, discover it by CLICKING HERE. 6. Serve a delicious beverage
A mimosa made of 2 ingredients: prosecco + apple juice! Tasty, sparkling, refreshing! For moms-to-be, replace prosecco by ginger ale. A classic in the making that you will want to serve again and again at all your parties, promised!
7. Serve a delicious dish
This delicious dish includes 2 main ingredients: asparagus + prosciutto! Wrap fresh asparagus in thin slices of prosciutto, sprinkle with some olive oil, add a pinch of salt and a little bit of crunchy pepper, send it to the oven for about 15 minutes at 425 degrees. A pleasure to taste, with the fingers -of course! And the children will love it!
8. Serve a fabulous (but ô so easy to make!) dessert
The cherry on top for this simple Thanksgiving? A chocolate and peanut butter mugcake that literally takes 1 minute to cook in the microwave! (Yup, we can hear you say yummmmmmy all the way over here) But how do you do it? It will take you:
-1 tablespoon of peanut butter
-2 tablespoons of cocoa
-1/4 cup of flour
-1 pinch of salt
-1/4 cup of sugar
-1/4 cup of vanilla
-2 tablespoons of oil
-1/4 cup of water
Put everything in a cup, send it to the microwave for 1 minute at maximum power and TADAM! So good, so easy, a sure hit!
