All You Need – Introducing The Thyme Pareo Wrap

Summer.  The season of iced teas, lemonade, poolside lounging, and beachy ease (even for us lucky city slickers close enough to a rooftop terrace).  The one time a year our wardrobes cut us some slack and don’t demand multiple layers as a mere effort to outsmart Mother Nature.  There is something so satisfying about relying on a few key pieces for a simple sunny style that’s all your own.  Haven’t you heard?  Tossing the unworn and making room for multitasking staples you love, is the new fashion Feng Shui.

Just like that Thyme’s Pareo wrap arrives.  It may have been born out of the new swimwear line, however this wrap is so much more than just a cover up.  Obviously perfect as a pairing with a stylish one or two piece swimsuit, you’ll find yourself reaching for this beauty long after your dip is done.

While you can tie it any which way you please (experimentation is your friend here), I’m loving these three mixups for serious city style:

alter The Halter – pair it with a waist cinching belt, twist the top (even knot it first before tying in the back), and add a great pair of espadrilles for a day to night look that keeps up with any atmosphere.
The Skirt – if you’re a fan of maxi dresses, this will quickly become a favourite.  Double it over if you
prefer something a bit shorter, or bring it up (over that beautiful belly) to waist level and rock it with one of the seasons coveted crop tops.
tube The Bandeau – this is one of the most sophisticated cuts you can wear when you’re further along in your pregnancy.  It’s simple, it shows of your gorgeous bump, and you can accessorize it virtually any way you please (although I’m a strong rooter for the plain and simple).  With a statement pair of flats and some great earrings, this dress look will take you from outdoor days to dressier date nights.

With some great basics, the Pareo is the only thing you’ll need this summer (and bonus – because it’s one size/adjustable it will still look just as good after bebe!).  Stock up on colours and love the freedom of not having to think about what you’ll wear next!
